try tapping lightly around the edges of the cap with the handle of a medium sized screwdriver…..sometimes a bit of oil will get hot and act like glue on the filler cap…..once you get it off clean it up really well and spray the threads with wd40 to keep it from happening again!!! many cars have a splash baffle right under the oil fill cap. My camry in particular.
